First Word

I decided it was time to say my first word...guess what it was....mama!!! or mamamama. Now I am somewhat associating it with my mom. It started as bababa and then in a couple days it turned into mamama and mama and mommmm. Also I have added yayaya and wawawa...what an extensive vocabulary I have!

Aaaah Summer

We went to the local butterfly conservatory, which just happens to be 80 degrees and full of tropical plants and butterflys and fish and birds. I went with mom and Auntie Claire the other day when it was about 5 degrees outside. We had tons of fun and it was nice being too hot for a change. I had butterflys land on me and tried to eat as many plants as possible! What an exciting day!

Weekend Vacation

We went to visit our friend's Randi, Brendan, and Owen (we haven't been to see them since September.) We had such a great time, and I got to get to know Owen again. I gave him lots of hugs and kisses and enjoyed stealing the toys he was using. Thank you so much guys for having us...can't wait to do it again!

8 Months

Wow can you believe it I am 8 months old...thats really close to a year! We have been enjoying mom's vacation from school, and not wanting to think about when it's over :( Mom and I have been able to spend a lot of quality time this vacation, and because schedules are not as hectic we have been able to spend evenings playing with dad too! We have been able to go to playgroups and meet more babies often now that mom has free time...i hope we can still go once school starts :)

Happy New Year

We know this is a little late....but our family motto seems to be better late then never :) We had a pretty low key New Years. I tried to stay up to ring in the new years with mom but I only made it until about 8:45...maybe next year. Happy New Year everyone!!!
